The local business networking group, Preferred Businesses at Anthem (PBA), will hold a community shredding event on Saturday, January 28th from noon to 3:00pm at the parking lot of Safeway. All residents of Anthem are welcomed to bring those old bills, tax returns and other personal papers to be safely destroyed by the commercial shredding company Cintas. The cost is free, however they encourage you to please bring a food donation for the Foothills Food Bank.

“We at the PBA wanted to give something back to the community for helping us grow our local businesses here”, Dick Titsell, current President of the PBA and Real Estate agent for D.L. Jones explains. The PBA is a business network group that comprises about 30+ members that live and work here in Anthem since 2002.

“We have a great group of professionals here in Anthem and the PBA helps each one to grow with the community”, Kerry Freeman and owner of Freeman Income Tax Service. “We are always looking for other businesses to come along beside us”. The PBA meets every Tuesday morning from 7:00am to 8:00am at the Anthem Community center. The first two visits are free to potential members and guest.
