Easter Service Schedule

In addition to the celebration of Lent and Easter each spring are two milestones in a child's spiritual journey. For many faiths, now is the time for First Holy Communion and Confirmation. First Holy Communion is preceded by months of study and preparation to receive the sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time. The clothing worn is often white to symbolize purity. The sacrament of Confirmation represents a mature commitment to the Church and brings the graces of the Holy Spirit. Both traditions are a festive occasion for the family and friends of those receiving the sacraments. Gifts given are of a religious nature such as crosses, jewelry, or commemorative figurines and plaques. Many families also have professional photographs taken of these milestone events so a special picture frame is a welcomed gift. Pathways Christian Bookstore located right here in Anthem carries invitations, apparel, gifts, cards, and thank you notes for both of these sacred events. Their staff would be happy to answer any questions you may have and help with your selections.
