Studies have shown that summer camps help your child develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests. After conducting my own personal study, I have discovered that often, a few weeks into summer, the only thing that can preserve sanity for both children and parents, keep peace among siblings, and retain civility in the household is summer camp.
So, enjoy the heck out of your kids when they are home -- and plan ahead for a “breather” when you both need some space!
