Ingrid Johnson
May 2004

Ingrid Johnson didn't have time for a salon visit. With 4 children of her own plus the children that come to her house for day-care, Ingrid had no child-free moment of her own. But, when HedZ Salon owner Lisa Morton approached her to have a free makeover, Ingrid could not pass it up. She juggled her schedule and headed over for a day of first-class treatment.

Don Browne deep conditioned Ingrid's hair because it had been chemically over-processed, then added high-lights and low-lights with a demi-permanent to help maintain the integrity of the hair. Then, Don evened out the hair with a cut. "Her hair was cut using a square layer technique to help keep as much length as possible," explains Don. "This cut shows that you can change and update your look without having to cut off a lot of hair. He finished up with Big Sexy Hair Mousse, Bed Head Spray Wax for separation and Sexy Hair frizz control drops for shine and to maintain "fly aways." Ingrid says the cut makes her morning care at home much easier.

Ingrid was excited about her makeup lesson and application. "I've always had naturally good skin, so I hardly ever apply any make-up," she says. "I was really surprised that the make-up looked so natural, yet even my 7-year-old noticed."

The results? "Amazing," says Ingrid. After a day spent at the salon, Ingrid and her husband went to the Marriott for music with Undercover Acoustic. The kids came along too, but for Ingrid, all admirers were welcome.
